Thread: Where's the best SCI Rehab for chronic SCI (30+ years)

    Things I heard were that Kessler focused on ventilator level injuries. Others had suggested Chicago and Shepherd over Kessler, but maybe they're wrong.

    Other options may include Mt. Sinai in NYC, University of Pittsburgh, TIRR in Houston, and Craig in Denver. Although all of these are primarily acute rehab programs for new injuries, they all have a steady track record of both research and practice in the area of chronic sustaining care and management of aging issues in people with SCI.

    I assume you are not a military Veteran and eligible for care through the VA SCI Center programs.
