Wheelmate. Locates public disabled loos, you can add locations if they're not already on the map. Not sure how well this works over in the states, depends how many people over there are already using it. Uses GPS and google maps.

Ulysse speedometer pro, GPS speedo, can overlay a display onto google maps so you can use it as full on satnav. Also has a 'heads up' feature where you put your phone on the dashboard and it'll reflect your speed and whatever other info you choose to display on your windshield. Pretty cool.

MDScan Lite. use this a lot at work, you take a pic of a document and it'll let you crop it and process it, save as pdf or jpeg. A quick alternative to scanning a document. Then i email with phone. Simples.

Equalizer. Good app, lets you apply a 5 step custom equalizer to your music and runs in background. Better than the non adjustable presets on the standard music android app.

    Aldiko. Good ebook app.

ChairGun. For air rifle hunting. Predicts the trajectory of the pellet so takes some of the guesswork out of shooting at varying distances. With a rangefinder and decent milldot scope it's very accurate.

Pirelli Diablo super biker. For track riding, kinda like a telemetry logger thingey. Logs speed, lean angle, Gs etc.

ES File Explorer. Allows you to browse files on the sd card and transfer files over wifi. Immensely useful. Even has dropbox on it so you can copy/paste stuff there.
T11 Asia A after near-fatal bike crash.. Just happy to still be here

No, I didn't loose my mind... It got scared and ran away!!

Thanks guys! Some good stuff to check out. I'm mostly just texting, talking occasionally, and information surfing when away from home. But I know that folks are doing lots of fun and productive things with the power in their pocket. Now that I'm getting comfortable with the most basic functions, I'd like to explore some of the other capabilities Android offers.

Hoping that other Aps join the list. Also, anyone that wants to expand this conversation to other aspects of Android smart phone use, jump in with questions or comments, tips, tricks, accessories - whatever.
