    Sit to Stand?

Not sure what they are called, but I'm looking for one of those contraptions that you sit in and I believe you 'pump' it up so you can get into a standing position. It's supposed to help with circulation, etc.

Any and all advice on what I should get would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thank you

Wheelin, I like that but was looking (at least for now) one of the 'non' mobile kind, that I can put in a room of the house and stand for an hour or so. Am I looking for the right thing guys?

You mean standing frames like this one?

They come with all kinds of options so it comes down to what you want. I have no experience with standing frames but am looking into a standing wheelchair myself since there's more flexibility.

Check the Easy Stand site: http://www.easystandstandingframes.com/

Then search eBay for a used model.

My husband uses the glider standing frame too! Loves it. Even when he sits to take a break I move the arm pieces which moves his legs, I can move them more than he can so it really gets some good stretching in.

    Okay, Easy Stand it is.

Is this something most insurances will pay for, or is this an out of pocket item? I have Blue Cross Anthem, anyone?
