Looking for a long drinking straw

When I first broke my neck in 1978 I got these long straws from Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. They are 18 inches long and have thicker walls than normal straws. I am in need of some more and could actually use some 24-26 inches long. I searched the Internet but can only find this one which I did not like and even if I did it appears to be discontinued. Does anyone know where I could get some more straws like the ones I got from RIC many years ago?

Have you ever tried to extend your straw with a piece of plastic tubing?

Thanks KKD and SCIfor55yrs. I have used these in the past, but you have to order a case of 1200 for $29.96 and $15.00 for shipping to the US from Canada!

Thanks everyone, I'm bad at choosing the right search words, I just tried "long Straw" & "long drinking Straw" but they didn't come up... A couple of the links KLD posted are what I'm looking for!

Yes I heated up one end, stretched it & put another piece on the end...

    Thanks again!

This tightwad buys polyethylene tubing of the appropriate diameter at the local hardware store, bleaches it, cuts it to length and then straightens and bends with a hot hair blower.

We have two of these and have ordered extra straws.
We don't use the mount anymore though and came up with our own idea for mount.

Go to a candy store and buy those gigantic, 4 foot long Pixie Stix.
Eat sugar, cut to length, drink from straw.
    Done!
