    video clip

I sent a video clip from my ipad, but the person on the other end can't get it to play. How can I fix this?

The big question is how did you send it. I am assuming that you:
•used the camera app in video mode
•used the in-app send function to send it in an email or in a message

The file type generated by the camera app is .MOV
The person you sent it to, if not also using an iOS device, may have to designate an application to open the file.
If you send it via text, the other person's phone may strip the video out of the text. Try an email.
    Hope this helps.

There are various software players and applications that will play or convert the Quicktime file you sent (probably .mov). But just have that friend download and install Apple's free player, in case you send more movies.
