You have been paralyzed for more than 20 years? I don't recall you ever mentioning that before, Lynnifer. Very interesting. What a hero.

Boy, I tell you, if I were injured that long I would struggle not to make that a cornerstone of my very online existence. I would never shut up about it. But you, Lynnifer, you are different.

Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

You caught me - it was sarcastic. I asked Jim to un-ban me...for that. What a life.

This is pretty much the textbook case for cure funding - I should be out lying down with strange ladies tonight! Instead, I'm lobbing veiled digs at computer people.

    Hurry, Wise Young.

Seconded, and thirded (?). Obviously SCI changes many parts of our lives, and we want it all back. But a pretty good rallying cry, especially for us young whose libido is as strong as ever, would be "I want to fuck again". Hurry up, indeed.

LOL ... I'm sorry if I go on about it. To be honest, I thought I would be cured by age 30 when I was a teen. After 30 I wondered if I would see 40. It was rough but I made it (through a long-term break-up, nary any family support, serious infections with possible amputation and 2 surgeries in 3 years after 20 with no hospital stays!)

Now that I have, I wear my time like a survival badge of honour (spelled properly Canadian with a u!) ... and I feel I should as well! At the lab the other night, I just introduced myself as Ms 28 Years Post and then laughed.

I still think you should come and visit my co-worker Natalie ... lol. She won't bite as far as chatting online with you; although she is single, beautiful, smart, kind, independent with a career and ambitious for more ... and an excellent cook! She ditched her Facebook account though .. she can be a bit of a moody Italian woman at times. LOL

She turns 40 August 3rd. She says she doesn't want children .. but I think she really does.

I am actually following occasionally proposed blog (U2FP), this Forum and few other blogs & sources and still feel disoriented and out of touch if I am not every week updated.

What I meant - when I've asked about collected digest "what is going on" - was related to possible communication improvement and this forum modernization.
For example, some newer forum scripts allow color coding and highlight some hot topics and also allow Likes and Dislikes as well as customization.
This would make sporadic forum visitors (as myself) to easier follow and faster be involved.
Well, it's a just idea, and if it's not easy to implement or could jeopardize anything related to this forum work and it's rich archive I would rather leave things the same.
