    Liver and Onions

    Another staple meal of being a 70's child, which I still love to this day!

    YUCK!!!! My grandmother made liver. I think I tated it once and maybe thought it was cardboard. That stuff was disgusting.

    My mom used to dry it out, but when I worked in a hospital, their caf did it great.
    Just didn't ask where they came from
    Keep it thin cut and don't over cook it and it's great.

    And beef tongue - another "yucky" food that I ate all the time growing up - still love it!
    Love the looks I get at the checkout.
