Thread: Will the VA?

The VA has gotten much better at getting people lightweight chairs such as TiLite. Be active in your care and vocal during your seating clinic/fitting.

    Yes they have.

Various VA medical centers seem to work differently and even from OT to OT and wheelchair consultant to consultant. My last two chairs from the VA have both been very nice (and light) rigid frame chairs. The VA will take care of your friend if he/she needs a chair. The monies would be best used otherwise if your friend qualifies for the VA to purchase a chair. Also it is much easier to have the VA send someone to work on a chair they bought than a chair you bought yourself.
