Easy way to look at it...putting knobby tires on wheelchair is no different than putting knobby tires on pickup truck. That should give yu a picture of all that needs change amd how they work.

You also have the Kenda's NEVEGAL rare knobby avalable with 24" rims…

I have Kenda Kross plus (1.75x559) Tyres on a spare set of rims.

I use them at very low pressure 20-25 psi for wet grass, because they have the smooth center they don't damage the grass too much and mud doesn't get stuck to them like regular knoblies. Hard to push, but they don't sink into the mud.

with 25" rims you can use pretty much any mountain bike tire that takes your fancy. Mountain bike 26" = Wheelchair 25"

No, I didn't loose my mind... It got scared and ran away!!

i musta confused you all. i'm not wantin knobby but i guess since i have this extra pair, i could go that route. i guess i could rig up my quickie with the 25,s and knobbys. i'd have to get 6 or 8" casters since i only got 2 1/2" dump. that's max i can get without going bigger casters.

Robo...I had a pair of those Nevagal. They destoyed sleeve on every sweatshirt I owned. Also need be careful with spacing-camber combination or they will destroy your cushion cover and probably cushion if let it go that far. Will admit, NEVER went flat. Bitch to change by myself. Always took wheel to bike shop for tire change.
