Syrinx formation is not typically a rapid process. Sympotmatic progression is typically slow. In the absence of Chiari Malformation, Syringomyelia is closely associated with SCI, Spinal tumors/scarring, and inflammatory myelopathy or inflammation of the meninges.

If you think you have Syringomyelia, see a spinal cord specialist. I wouldnt recommend "diagnosis by internet". Many spinal disorders have similar symptomatic presentations, sometimes making proper diagnosis difficult. MRI likely needs to be done.
