My wife was diagnosed with Empty Nose Syndrome earlier this year. This is the excesive or agressive removal of Nasal Turbinate tissue. This for many is debilating as once the tissue is removed and the nasal mucousa many patients feel the inability to breathe correctly and oftern have many other symptoms that occur later after surgery. This also has led to many people committing suicide as with improper breathing a person is affected mentally as well.

Some of the people who have this condition are going to doctors in Germany and Italy to get an injection of PRP to stimulate stem cell growth to have the turbinates regenerate. Some people have commented that they are getting new cells and healing.

I am curious if PRP is able to be used or experimented in the case of people who have a SCI? Has anyone heard of this therapy and is it reliable?
