    camera on monitor to record

I need to mount a camera on my monitor to watch my attendant. Lots of my stuff is disapearing from my house and I would like to record when I am in the shower.

Does my desktop have the ability to record or do I need a to buy some kind of recording devise. I will tell them the camera is for talking to people if someone asks.

Far better it is to try mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure. Than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory or defeat.

You can try a free, open-source program called Dorgem. Ugolog is another free program. Disclosure, I have not personally used these two programs.
