    wheelchair wheel possibility

If apply this to wheelchair, it will be great, solid and yet low rolling resistance.
Life is meaningles, though you create the purpose.

Looks like Michelin has made something similar for cars and power chairs.

Interesting. Three ads in 49 seconds made it a bit tricky to watch though.

cool idea. i bet they're gonna be expensive as crap though. i assume you have to by the whole rim and tire together at replacement time.

On a chair that might be really nice. But on a HMMWV? All the crap that would get stuck in there would be a royal pain to clean out after every mission. Plus it's a great spot for someone to stick a piece of dynamite. Ok, Im paranoid, but I'll stick to what I know on trucks.

Really looks nice for a chair though. If they can get it working for mountain bikes, it will be great for us.
Played with bombs- No SCI, Brain Damage enough that I require a chair and a caregiver.

They could probably make flexible sides to cover it, just didn't right now so you can see how the tire works. I think the open sides could be an issue for anything, in wheelchairs it could collect mud or snow and then deposit that all over your home/inside a business.
