I also hear about a para flying a turbo-commander. They said it had a ramp and he would just wheel straight into the cockpit!

Are you serious?? I have about 1300 hours in turbo commanders. They are great airplanes and would be easy to get into. I wonder how he worked out rudder, brake, and steering.

I heard it from a friend of a friend so I'm not positive, but I'm trying to track the guy down because it sounds like he has it dialed in.

    Great pictures!

This was one of my favorite places to land. It's walking distance to the river, has picnic table, fire pit and horseshoe pits. This was taken in April, I think. I love it when the desert is so green. I used to take my kids here for picnics when they were little.

Looks incredible! Thanks everyone for sharing your pics.

I've always loved aviation, I've done aerobatic RC planes and helis since I was 15, 9 years ago. My parents bought me an hour flying experience in an Ikarus C42 (fairly decent size microlight) for my 21st birthday and took to it immediately. A friend of mine has just done his PPL so I've been up flying with him a few times since my accident. He's let me fly the plane and he just does the rudder, feels a bit awkward, I don't like not having full control.. His instructor told me about a flying academy that has adapted planes, the rudder is controlled by twisting the stick, kinda like the computer joysticks. I've got a lot I'm doing at the moment but I think this is something I might like to do when I have the time. All the pictures here look incredible.
