Sorry to hear about your mother KLD. She definitely was very blessed to have you as a daughter. How wonderful that you could be with her to the very end.

Sincerest sympathies on the loss of your mother KLD.
Partner of an incredible stroke survivor. Limitations: hemiparesis and neglect (functional paralysis and complete lack of awareness on one side). Equipment: TiLite ZRA 2 and 2GX, Spinergy ZX-1, RioMobility Firefly. Knowledge: relative newbie for high-level equipment (2012), but willing to try to help others who are new with similar limitations (definitely not a guru, but inquisitive).

KLD is not on this week but I will pass along your messages. You are all a very kind and supportive community and I am sure she will be touched.

I was once talking to my uncle about guilt, regrets, etc. He said he had dumped his own guilt. He recommended I go forward in a manner to avoid incurring my own.

KLD never had a cause for self-recrimination. That's the biggest gift she, her father and mother could have given each other and themselves. They came correct to this family thing.

K, if you ever feel adrift, know this. You came correct. You did your best and your best is better than most anybody else's. Your mother was blessed. You all were.

    It's hard. I'm sorry.
