    TARTA backrest

    Any of you have one of this backrest? looks like they are so far the best option for your back.

    I'm sure they cost an arm rest and a caster too.

    Here in Spain the cheapest around 1000 euros.

    looks really similar to the back rest they use on the Genny segway chair.

    They could do with a better website to show off their back rests. Especially how they fit to chairs etc. They look really promising.

    It's very modern- and state-of-the-art-looking -- almost comic book-inspired -- yet at the same time very institutional-looking. I wouldn't rush out to buy one but I could see how this product could be the best solution for someone with challenging postural issues.

    I just tried one for 15 minutes.
    It's highly adjustable, in few minutes my dealer adjusted it to my back width and my scoliosis, I was more comfortable than in my simple backrest, better balance.
    I have not yet tested rigid backrests like ADI or Matrix so I can't compare.

    We've been looking into a new backrest for my son (who has significant scoliosis). We're looking to demo a TARTA backrest soon, but does anyone on here use one? If so, how has it worked out?

    I'm thinking he would need one in a similar configuration to this:

    Gordon, father of son who became t6 paraplegic at the age of 4 in 2007 as a result of surgery to remove a spinal tumour.
