    Smile Built a dinner/prep/cook table

I'm pretty excited about my most recent project. My father and I have been searching for a butcher's block type table on wheels for years without much luck. Came across some wheels and granite/marble top at a restaurant supply company that was going out of business and got them for a great deal.

My dad was able to find some modular railing scraps at work and put this together for me

I can't wait to do amazing things with it in the kitchen!

It looks very nice. I might have a problem with the brace across the bottom keeping me from getting in as close as I would like.

We specifically built the table so that we could put that cross brace a little bit higher so that I could comfortably get my feet under it. I only need to get 2 inches of my feet under before my wheelchair armrests hit the edge of the table top and at that point Buddha gets in the way ;-)
