    Pillow for lying prone

What do people use? I need something that I can use keeping my face straight down. When I have my head facing to either side my neck hurts as I bring it back to the center even after a short period of time. Muscle tightness etc.

I've looked on Amazon at a few prone pillows. One was rated as awkward and the simplier horseshoe shaped ones weren't tall enough and people's head sank to the mattress not giving them room to breath.

I just need something to use for an hr a day. Keeping my head to the sides is increasing my muscle pain in the neck/upperback/shoulders.

I've tried the pillow with the hole you put your face in and it sucks! It often props you up too high, unlike a massage board, and feels very unnatural.

I just now lie on my stomach and deal with the turning of the head.

I have used a block of non-latex foam and custom cut mine own for use with my clients. An electric knife makes this much easier.

    I have also used these:

You can also check out products used by massage therapists, such as these:

When I want to lie prone I switch around and lay with my head just off the end of my bed (I don't have a foot board on my bed. You have to get it just right so that you chin is being supported by the mattress but it works for me.

Good idea, but I also need my feet hanging off the edge of the bed too for stretching (I add ankle weights). My bed is against a wall so only one side and the foot would be free to hang off of.
