    Rigid chair footrest question

Wondering which footrest will better suit me. Titanium footrest with ABS cover, looks like some sort of grip tape is on this footrest to hold feet better in place maybe? Or titanium open loop footrest. I like the look of this footrest much better but worried my feet may not stay on well. Suggestions?

I have open loop. When my feet are wet they don't stay on. Bumpy stuff makes them come off too. Im incomplete so i can kinda hold them on.

The open loop is certainly a slick-looker but, assuming proper footrest height, I would think ABS is much more foot-friendly for toeing, heeling, socking, barefoot'n, and staying pretty well planted – seems so to me anyway.

Can't compare – might open loops hold one's foot position better than ABS under a proper pair of vibram-ish soled shoes?
