    MEYRA XR Manual Wheelchair

Saw this Youtube video of the MEYRA XR Manual Wheelchair. The chair looks pretty good to me and pretty strong. I'm noticing the number of box frames with raised lower frame tubes. Seems to be a good design. I haven't found this chair available in the U.S.

It wouldn't run that good with me pushing it. Did you see him coming up the escalator? I can move my legs a little, but the paralysis in the rest of my body says be careful.

Yes, it's another great looking chair. I look at these to see if the casters are a fixed distance (wheelbase) from the rear wheels, of course they are.
I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

Nice looking chair but that video was painful.

meyra chairs are from germany. 2 friends of mine bought them from draft wheelchairs with yamaha jw2 wheels (same as quickie extender). if you really want one, the guy at draft ships all over the world

MEYRA shows the XR at 9 or 10 Kg. That's about 20 to 22 lbs.

Draft only shows the ZX. A folder and nowhere near as nice looking as the XR.
