    Each state is probably a little different.
    When I went in for my license renewal, I asked if taking the class would have sped up the process or anything. The answer was no. They don't care. She said if it looks like there could be an issue such as using a cane, having trouble standing from the chair, or definitely using a wheelchair, you get the full driving test. During the test there was no interest on their part where my control came from or who installed it (me).
    I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

    No problem. I've ordered from onlinemetals before. If the have it in stock, it shouldn't take longer than a week. Just make sure you order more than enough because you don't want to pay for shipping twice, it can get expensive.
