    DO IT!: Lectures will explore stem cell trials

    Gosh you Michigan folks! Time to study up.

    On Oct. 13, Dr. Ping Wu will speak on "Cultivating Neural Stem Cells for Transfer."

    On Nov. 10, Dr. Dan Lammertse will discuss"Clinical Trials in SCI Medicine."


    Both lectures will be at 3:30 p.m., in room F2305, Mott Auditorium in the U-M Mott Children's Hospital, 1505 Simpson Road, Ann Arbor.

    bump, i hope someone from here can go. if ya'll think MP is getting close, talking to Dr. Lammerse about their plans would be interesting, they ain't gonna be left behind.

    Leo, I hope to go. Missed the one by Dr. Bunge in September, darnit. Lammertse is at the MP? I will definitely want to go to that one then!

    Hi Belle, Lammertse is at Craig in Denver. From what i've read and heard though they are not only one of the top SCI facilities, also it sounds like they are preparing them selves to do it all, culture cells, transplant and their rehab. I had one very short phone call with him and he seemed very approachable and caring.

    Lammertse is very conservative. Don't expect too much.
