    There was a clamp that came with it that tightens onto my w/c armrest, I leave the clamp on the chair all the time. The articulated arm fits into a hole in the clamp. Allows the arm to swivel. It lifts in an out of the hole easily.

    You may have to order the clamp separately... i forget, i've been using this for years.
