Wells Engberg Hand Controls For Sale

I have a previously used set of Wells Engberg Hand Controls taken out of my Acura TL for sale. Asking $150 plus shipping or willing to meet within a reasonable distance if you're in the Baltimore, York, Washington DC You may need to acquire a mounting bracket, but it's recommended to have a professional install them.

Looks like it is twist for accelerator/throttle. I have never used one before. How much effort does it take?

Also, was there another part/bracket that attached to the steering column of the Accura, or is what is shown all there is to it?

    Thanks.

if that's all the pieces you have, it's missing quite a bit

I have full upper body strength and find it quite easy to operate.
The installer fabricated a piece/bracket for attachment. Since different cars require different brackets, that's not included.

What exactly do you believe is missing?

what IS missing, the bracket and springs that screw to the floor to attatch the cable for accelerator and all the clamping for the steering column

Oh I see. I never had a bracket and springs screwed to the floor on my install and I explained about the bracket for the steering column. There very well could be parts missing, but I'm not the person who physically removed the controls. This is what I have. I do thank you for your concern.

It's very easy to use and takes very little effort with a small modification to the leverage "pin" like so:

This way, you merely rest your palm on the twist handle and the bottom of your thumb on the pin for leverage on long trip without any fatigue. I've been driving mine like this for 22+ years. The way Wells Engberg had the pin with a 90-deg bend it in is kinda dangerous, IMHO, because the pin blocks your hand from gripping the handle in a comfortable manner.
