I know a couple quads on this board drive and really like their Nissan Altima's... fuente in particular is a big dude with a box-frame chair with no hand function and no complaints.

I drive a Subaru Outback. The doors don't open as wide as some others (e.g., a 5-series BMW), but I can get in/out no problem. Just take a trip to Carmax sometime & try transferring in/out of a bunch of different makes/models.

The Dodge Charger doors open almost at 90 degrees. Had one as a rental and it was really roomy.

The VW Jetta Sportwagen has small doors, but they open up almost 90 degrees. I have have an 18" wide chair and don't have any problems bringing it across me and into the passenger seat.
