If you're able to get in and out of your car unassisted and your gas cap in on the driver's side, park at an angle so you can get your door opened a little further. So what if you block a little traffic. If they want to put up a fuss, tell them then they can pump it for you. If the gas cap is on the passenger side, I have found it easier to park on the outer pumps because you have more room. However, most places I go have helped me (Oklahoma). There was one time, the bottom fell out of it and before I could do anything, another customer who was getting gas at the time pumped it for me.
