Dogs are family, the loss is huge. I still miss my dog, I even dream about her sometimes. Only dog owners really know. They are family. I am sorry for your loss. What a wonderful life you had together. Try to remember that :-)

those are beautiful photos..thank you for sharing..he was a gorgeous boy..I recently rescued a GS and he is very afraid of everything still.

I wonder if your boy was taught to guard..he was so lucky in any case to have you as his owner. What a huge loss and I am thinking of you and hope you heal soon..and love again.

    sorry for your loss.

i still miss my scottie Murphy a rescue dog who sat on my bed guarding, protecting and keeping me company through 4 major spinal surgeries and several revisions. She was tiny even for a scottie. would walk up my chest look in my eyes, sniff then lick me and sit there for a while then move to the foot of the bed and guard me.
    Kindly,

He was BEAUTIFUL! All of our dogs have been rescue dogs. They come with a ton of issues, but when they finally come around, there is no greater love! My heart aches for you! I've been there and will go thru this loss many more times.

I'm sorry for your loss. He was a very handsome dog and no doubt a comforting companion. Hang in there.
