    Why always black chairs

a couple years ago it hit me

why is black the prominate color

if i'm outside my chair heats up some thing terrible, my headrest is so hot i don't use it

it's seems like it should be a health issue,

outdoors i sweat more leading to groin issues

    roho black

doesn't desert como or some other color seem more appropriate

I agree. I am out side in arizona 90% of the time and black doesn't make since. I am sure if it was any other color i wouldn't be as hot.

If you go by the surface temperature of cars, white is the coolest by far. Even silver is hot. A big sombrero and a white white over your lap should do it!

    It's just personal taste.

I'm not a fan of bright colors, chrome wheels, or flashing casters because I feel it screams, "HEY! HEY EVERYONE! LOOK AT ME! OVER HERE! I'M IN A WHEELCHAIR!"

I mean, it's pretty obvious. I don't need to draw any more attention to it.

    But that's just me.

I'm being cheeky, my black wheelchair, cushion always matches my tuxedo!

    All the best,

I always thought it was so we could ninja around better LOL. Camo might make more sense!

Buy the chair with another colour, that`s all.

It's the cushion and arm rests etc.

I'm pretty sure the OP is referring to power chairs, which, I believe, are predominantly black.
