I couldn't sleep last night b/c I didn't call this person out on that bs. So thank you! I didn't mention the nhs portion b/c I didn't want to stir up such nonsense.

The nhs baby tho, just disturbing!

nhs saved my stepbro's life when he stuck his American head through a cab windshield.

even the announcer called that out!!! lol!

I had friends over, and when he said 'that is either really cool or really creepy' we all lost it.

I give the the opening ceremonies 2 Jai-ho's for Danny Boyle boring the crap out of me with no concurrent theme to the ceremonies. there were parts where it was like... oh cool, I guess... but mostly it was bizarre. Thanks for the lesson on London's industrial revoloution but when the last opening ceremony was the most amazingly choreographed thing to come out of China since chow mein, it's a tough act to follow, (but still doable). Not doable is 4 or 5 different significant unlinked themes (see what I did there- unlinked? linked like rings?) one of which is an ET ripoff, 58 Mary Poppins, a JM Barre's Peter Pan segment with no Peter Pan... and what's up, guy who invented the internet, how do you think the Queen liked the Rave scene?

The opening to 127 hours set to that Free Blood song was better than this production. Maybe it needed more AR Rahman, (since he worked with him on the music for Slumdog and 127).

side note, the Arctic Monkeys did a great cover of Come Together, and oh danny boy got me too. the pyro wasn't bad and the ending with the floating rings, etc. kept waiting for them to change color though.
