    varicoise veins

Can we (sci) still get varicoise veins? My 50+ year old cousin told me I don't have varicoise veins because I can't walk. She showed me hers and I'm sure I don't want them either. I haven't done a google on vv (i'm sure i'm not spelling it right either) but is she right?

Yes, although you are less at risk for them than someone who walks or stands for long periods of time, or an AB person who is obese or pregnant.

Ok - I didn't know if age or weight had anything to do with it, as this cousin is older but not obese. I do have a few younger cousins who are obese and have vv.
