    Infection

    I had a culture done & I have:

    >100,000 COL/CC PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA
    >100,000 COL/CC ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS

    but no symptoms
The culture was done because I was going to have stones removed.
The operation has been postponed due to testing.

So I started cipro thinking I was having an operation.
    I've taken half!
Do I finish the half knowing my surgery isn't till July?
Which I'll be getting again in July.

I asked the nurse. She left it up to me.

Yes, finish the course of antibiotics and retest in a few days after the antibiotic has cleared your body.

Kind of odd to have two bacteria with high counts at one time according to a urologist I once had when I asked him about the possibilities.

    All the best,
    GJ

Well I hope the stones harbor them out of me. lol

My Dr. piled them up on a blue towel & took a pic last time & gave it to me.

I laid it on my dresser. My daughter came over & picked it up & said what beach was this? She thought the stones were bolders next to the blue water.

I saw them in me. They look gross!

Hi Mona, Sorry about your infection, but glad you have no symptoms. Yes, finish the antibiotics. People who do not finish their course of antibiotics help to create drug resistant bacteria, so it is better for you and better for everyone for you to finish those pills!
