    It's been 12 weeks

Post flap surgery, that includes 6 weeks on my back in a clinatron bed. I'm up to 3 hours a day, on a roho until my Ride design cushion is fabricated, my question is: when is it safe to shower?!

BTW I'm never red or pink after I get back in bed and do a skin check.

    showering post op flap surgery

It is safe to shower when the surgeon says so. If you have worked up to a regular seating/sitting daily program - in other words back to normal - then you can probably take a shower. But when it comes to surgery always, always, always - ask the surgeon. The surgeon did the sewing they are responsible for discharge instructions, surgical work, etc. It is their call.
