Size of Cyst and Cell Transplantation

Two years ago a Beijing dr after viewing my MRI commented that, since the cyst in my spinal cord was too big, i was not a good candidate for cell transplantation. He said that this kind of operation might cause secondary injury to my nerve.
    Is his comment reasonable?
But even if he is right, there should be a way to remedy the situation, shouldn't there? For example, to clear the cyst. So i can do cell transplantation then.
    Is my suggestion workable?
