    help with pricing

    I have a chance to purchase a ALL ALUMINUM INVACARE HANDCYCLE IN GOOD SHAPE DESIGNED FOR a person up to 180 pounds & 5'8", in excellent shape, silver color, detachable rear wheels, seat for $250.00 plus shipping but im not sure if its a good deal i should get pics tomorrow....what does everyone think?

    I doubt it's aluminum, most are chrome-moly tubing. What series is the bike?

    invacare makes several models. if it's excelerator, the people would be lucky to give it away

    Clearly it's not what you or I would buy, but it might be a fine choice for someone who just wants to get outside.

    If you don't know what Top End model it is, get that info before you do anything else.

    The Exelerator model retails for about $2,000. I'd make sure it's in good condition and in full working order before you buy. Ask for pictures of everything and have a friend who knows about bikes take a look at them.

    the excelerator might be a good starter and short distance. offer $150, there are several been through here that never sold.

    ok thanks i just want a bike to get out side and ride not racing i just want something to get excerise with....i dont know anyone that knows anything about bikes.
