I completed my first painting. God, how awful it looks. But I was surprised by How relaxing it is to paint...
No, not with an easel, canvas, oil paint, brushes...so relaxing. But I swear the result is ugly as a sin.
Art is a great hobby to get into! even if it looks like hell its something you made which wasn't there before.

What medium do you use?
Me too .. ordered some charcoal and oil pastel crayons (lol). I plan on doing a copy of Edvard Munch's The Scream and a drawing of my father to be framed for his birthday in the Fall.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

It is somewhat addictive, I am doing my second masterpiece and the sea already looks better...but still bad. I have bought a couple of books as I am obsessed with painting waves properly, you know, those yellow-green-white effects that look as if the wave is breaking...But I just applied some yellow and now the wave looks like a friggin fried egg...
