    Had you painted pre-SCI?

No, not with an easel, canvas, oil paint, brushes...so relaxing. But I swear the result is ugly as a sin.

Me too .. ordered some charcoal and oil pastel crayons (lol). I plan on doing a copy of Edvard Munch's The Scream and a drawing of my father to be framed for his birthday in the Fall.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

Man, I thought oils were so easy, just splash stuff around...'
It is somewhat addictive, I am doing my second masterpiece and the sea already looks better...but still bad. I have bought a couple of books as I am obsessed with painting waves properly, you know, those yellow-green-white effects that look as if the wave is breaking...But I just applied some yellow and now the wave looks like a friggin fried egg...
