I'm a C7 incomplete quad using a manual Ti Lite chair with power assist wheels. No matter what I do, I have problems with my backrest. I like having it straight up, rather than reclined, because I like to lean forward when I push and I'm not strong enough to pull myself forward from a reclining position. I have lumbar lordosis because I was a gymnast and my back is very flexible. As a result, I end up having my upper body recline over the backrest which drives me CRAZY. I have tried raising it, which didn't help much. I also tried adding padding to the top part of the cushion to block my shoulders, but then I couldn't get my butt back far enough in my chair. Any suggestions? It's so frustrating being uncomfortable in my chair!
