    Graduated from college!

June 4, 2011 I fell over a railing 23 feet and suffered a spinal cord injury and a traumatic brain injury. I got KAFO braces a couple of months ago, and yesterday I graduated from Case Western Reserve University, a bachelor of science in computer science. I have been using my KAFO braces and my walker to walk everyday, and yesterday I used them to walk across the stage to shake the dean's hand and get my diploma. My sister took a video of it, and put it on YouTube and here is the link to it.

Congratulations! A Case Tech BS degree in 1965 served me well for a lifetime. Best to you.

Congratulations ! Proud of you for not letting your SCI stop you from graduating from College inspite of your accident. Way to GO! Do you have a job lined up yet? If not hope you find one real soon.
Good for you for getting KAFO's and using them and not just sitting them in the corner or putting them in the closet out of sight out of mind.
Wish you happy, healthy, wealthy & prosperous life.
