    Yes, Dr. Henreich Cheng has long been applying aFGF intrathecally to patients with spinal cord injury. It seems to be safe when given intrathecally but I don't know about giving it systematically. Unfortunately, the study that Dr. Cheng did was not controlled (i.e. compared against any other therapy) and therefore it is hard to judge whether the treatment is effective. Wise.

    Sorry, I mean systemically... i.e. intravenous. Intrathecally is giving it into the cerebrospinal fluid space of the spinal cord. Wise.
