I really like Claiborne. Might be a shut down corner, or close to it. We need him against Philly and the Giants.

The Steelers had a surprise. They never talked about the All American Stanford guard (DeCastro) because being number 24 on the pick list, they never thought he would still be available. When the chance came, they could not pass it up. At times last season, the offensive line was more like a sieve than a steel curtain. I am sure that Roethlisberger is happy. I am sure that New England was just as surprised that they were able to get Hightower who everyone thought was all but signed by the Steelers.

Nice touch, having Brian Westbrook announce the Eagles selection with the 46th pick. Mychal Kendricks, ILB from California. It's obvious that the Birds place a very high value on high motor attacking type defensive players.

Philadelphia has another decision coming soon. What to do with the 51st pick?

ETA: Traded the 51 spot for 59 plus 121. Good move!

Well, I guess two out of....

Not sure why Kendricks over Wagner.
Foles was a reach and the tackle from Purdue wasn't even listed on the NFL.com stat page.
And the truth shall set you free.

Now that things are winding down, a question has come to mind. Has anyone ever heard of a study that indicates what percentage of draft picks live up to the expectations of the teams and how many completely fizzle?

Tom, what's up with drafting two QB's? I think the Shanahans have become senile.

How'd everybody like their picks? I think the Cowboys did great. I also believe the NFC East will be the best division this year. The road to the Super Bowl will be a knuckle biter, as always.

    2 QB's....

Stash Cousins for a No.1 pick in the next 2 years.

The Skins puzzled me with some of their picks....but, I sure hope one of those guards pans out, we seriously need some linemen.

RG3 looks like he'll be a winner from the get go. Romo, Vick, Eli and RG3, battling it out. Can't wait for the season to start.
