    Bath Tub Lifts?

Has anyone used a bath tub lift? I have been lifting myself in and out of the bathtub daily for almost 38 years and getting up there in age it is not getting any easier. I also would like to preserve my shoulders and be able to continue take a hot baths because it relaxes my muscles. There are several models on the market and was wondering if they are worth it. I do not want to convert to a roll in shower at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use this lift from Invacare

I charge it once a week and that is all that is required. You will find the tub a bit shorter when you are in it because it takes up some space at the back of the tub.

Those lifts above are pretty good. There are several manufacturers of similar ones.

You might also want to consider a ceiling track lift.

The link above can't be purchased in USA. Do a search for "rio" on Invacare's website for USA.
I have many of my customers use them and haven't had any problems.
