    Exclamation Get your.... EXTREME ON!

    Hey All in the posts,

You know you have a good set of friends when they throw you, and your chair, over the rail.

If any one does it, POST WHAT YOU GOT!

I'm wondering how they got her back over the rail after the jump. Had to be harder than the toss/jump.

Wow ! That's insane. More power to her though for going with it.

    Dear Scott C4/5,

Usually the recovery is an electric winch that hoists up the jumper post "leap". The recovery and the anchor line rarely go over the rail together with the jumper. I wonder if they would do it at the New River Gorge "Bridge Day"?

I've seen bungee recoveries, but in her case, I would think the chair would get caught on something.
I live a few hours from the New River Gorge, but there is no way I'd be tossed over even if they transferred me into a manual chair. I'd sooner go sky-diving.

    Dear Scott C4/5,

I doubt that lead acid batteries like to be shaken nor stirred.

This is a Paraplegic parachute jump 2010 Bridge Day:

Here is a link for tandem skydivers, but I don't think it is as close to you as Fayette, WV.

    They are located at:
    Middletown Regional Airport
    Hook Field
    1711 Run Way
    Middletown, OH 45042

Unfortunately you will not be the first.

The landing looked like fanny first for the Able Body tandem lead

Here is another thread on the topic of bungee jumping started a few minutes after mine:
