    Will it ever happen?

I have been hirt almost 5 years im now 26 years old, I thought when I was hirt in 07 that by now there would be some kind of treatment for sci. All I wont to do is go back to work on the farm and be a productive part of society again, but im begining to wonder if it will ever happen what does everyone think will it happen or is it just wishfull thinking. I know that I will probably never be %100 like I was before but ill gladly walk with a cane, I just dont wont to live like this the rest of my life im tired of the nerve pain im tired of not being able to do what I wont when I wont, and I hate not being able to work. My point is living like a quad sucks and the only thing that makes it worth living is because i'm a very optomistic person and you never know what tomarrow brings. Sorry for the rant just had to get it off my chest.

I'd say that you can certainly hope for a cure, but don't waste your life waiting for it. We've been hearing 5 to 10 years for quite awhile.

Without hope there is hopelessness, wishful thinking is a positive thing in a world of negatives keep them all but try not to sit and wait keep moving and living...

Hope is a blessing AND a curse.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

It's going to take some time.

    All the best,

Twenty nine years and counting for every time I've heard the cure is only 5 years away. Don't waste your life sitting around and hoping. Life is what you make it.
