RIM & TIRE: 24 x1 tire seems too big...

    Had a flat on a Cheng Shin 24 x 1.95 tire. the tire is on a 20.5" rim. The tube is marked 24 x 1 /14 - 1 3/8.

When I put tube inside the tire it appears too big--it actually overlaps itself 1". Is that normal?

Did you figure this out? Sounds like you've got wheelchair and bike parts mixed. 24x1.95 is bike stuff. I don't what the 20.5 rim would be. 24x 1 1/4- 1 3/8 should be a wheelchair tube that goes in a 24 x 1 3/8 chair tire.
