@Mize, found that Sapporo Medical University are doing a IV BMSC chronic SCI trial:

If they get results, it would a minimally invasive delivery method of autologous bone-marrow derived stem cells. That combo lessens risk and opens the door for western uptake of such treatment.

Pauly1, interesting, but I'm a bit skeptical about stem cells making their way from an IV drip to the spinal cord. Certainly will be hoping they get results.

Any idea why a penicillin allergy would be an exclusion criteria? I'm allergic to penicillin, but it's not server (hives).

    This part is pure evil:
"-- Florida clinics use online seminars, high-tech websites and listings in the federal database ClinicalTrials.gov to market their treatments to patients."

Indeed, being listed on clinical trials does tend to give one credibility.

This is one of the big reasons a professionally reviewed list of trials is being put together.
Apparently there are tons of "trials" on there for back room stem cells treatments.

If you are asked to pay for something its a big red flag.
