    State of Human Trials

I know human trials for CHRONICS are currently underway in Portugal, Australia, Russia, and Brazil. I have read on this forum that there are 12 various human trials being conducted. I only know of the aforementioned ones.

    ostria,

Look at this link. You can also do a search, enter "russia stem cells". If you have trouble, e-mail me for assistance.

The only reports I have heard about from Russia about hECS were negative. Can anyone provide me with a link for current/additional info?

Schmeky, a couple of obvious ones to add to your list.

    1. Acorda - 4AP

    2. Macrophage - Proneuron

    3. Purdue Univ - electrical stim for regen.

    4. Diacrin - Fetal PIG cell transplants

    5. Neotherapeutics

    6. UCLA - supported ambulation

    7. ASU - electrical implant

    8. MP - lokomat

...off the top of my head that's what I thought of.

    Hope it helps.

ostria, try the clinical trial forum. By the way, if people have new information on any of the clinical trial, please update them. Thanks. Wise.

This is the most sweeping statement I have ever read concerning human trials. Hopefully with Wise's "push" we may get a report sometime next year.

PROF. ALAN MACKAY-SIM, Griffith University : "I wouldn't want to be getting anybody's hopes up, but this is so extraordinary that people will stand up and walk."

Can anyone translate from German to Endlish? This appears to be very recent (April 2003).
