Somehow I missed this when you posted it. It sounds as though you are doing a lot on your own, which is great. The earlier you start the better. If you are interested in participating in our program please fill out the application form on our website and someone will contact you. Do you have any feeling or movement below your injury level? ( I realize you are diagnosed T6 complete, but it seem like 90% of the time that doesnt mean too much.)

At this time I really cannot comment on the Lima patients.

However, another of our clients will be going for the surgery shortly.

    Piela...

I was told I'd never walk in braces. I did a quarter mile last week...

Respect your neurosurgeon, and smile like I did when you "ambulate" )) back into his office. (would it be so hard to just say walk?)

    Cheers...Eric T

    Schmecky,

Maybe it is time to contact the Lima patient you met at PW. Sure would be great to get a report!

Of course, getting her to participate here would be even better.

Nanda, here's some info about the costs although others who have had the surgery say it costs 50 thousand.

    Here's Dr. Lima's e-mail address: crlima@clix.pt

If this isn't right, could someone post the correct address?
