    spasms

I take baclofen 3 times a day and one just before bed. My spasms are so bad at night they keep me awake all night long. Is there any muscle relaxer, or any other meds somebody takes that is better our helps more?

Have you tried some stretching exercises before bedtime? For some people the stretching out helps quite a bit also.

How much baclofen? Many people take a larger dose at bedtime. There are other meds, but the dosage of baclofen may need some adjustment first.

Do you stand daily? Do daily ROM? Lay on your stomach at least 1 hour daily?

Talk to your physician, but many people take 80-100 mg. of baclofen daily.

Also ask them if you are OK at this point to prone (lay on your stomach). It is a great way to reduce spasticity, as well as reduce your risks for hip and knee contractures.

Have you looked into getting a used standing frame? It is an excellent way to reduce spasticity, contracture risks, and also improve bowel function.
