    Just a thought, But cant they come up with a silicon, or saline implant to stop pressure sores?

    A saline implant would never stand up to the abuse and would likely break. A silicone implant might break too and then you would have to have all of that goo scraped out of the pocket it would be placed in. Having had to have that done for reconstrucive mastectomy silicone implants I can tell you that it is a horrible prospect. Either way, it would mean repeat surgeries to place and replace them since even breast implants don't last forever. They say about five years or so.
