    Am I thinking to irrational?

I looking into getting a standing frame. I wanted to at first get the Easystand Evolv or Glider.
Now I seen the Easystand Strapstand. http://www.easystand.com/strapstand/index.cfm No need for an transfer just to pull up to the stander and get the strap under you a bit. I'm an c6 Quad. Do you think this is meant for more of an low low para. I was looking at it and was thinking of possibly making something to put on the tray to help stabilize my upper body? What does everyone think getting this?

I think it's geared toward low level para's. It seems to me when the sling is lifting you, you'd have to be able to balance yourself and not fall forward from the waist.

I had a strap type stander. You still have to get the strap underneath you. I had to transfer to another chair.

You're a C/6, you should be able to transfer to a glider. You just may be too weak right now. I know C5/6's doing transfers to the stander. The Glider is much better for you in that you can move the legs back and forth exercizing and stretching the hips etc. I have a GLider now and would never go back to the strap stand. I'm a T/6 and it was very bothersome to have to put a chair in front of the stander with the strap on it, transfer over to the chair trying not to push the strap off it while transferring. With the Glider, I just put my chair at a 45o angle, put on the brakes, grab the handle and slide onto the Glider. No problem at all. With the strap I needed help, with the Glider I don't.

If you notice in the video, there is no footage of anyone putting the strap on the person. Really mis-leading.
